Pantone® color space
.Short description
The Pantone® color system is used internationally and has been standardized for this purpose. This allows manufacturers in different locations to ensure that the colors they want always match each other.
It uses the following designation: behind the name Pantone® or PMS, a three- or four-digit numbering is given. Not every possible number exists as a Pantone® color. At the moment, the Pantone® color system consists of 1114 spot colors.

The Pantone® color system is the most common system for print and graphic arts and can be used excellently in the printing industry, for example.
